I just went to visit a friend here who was staying for a short period on the campsite. What I recall was the lovely view driving down to the lake.

Not into fishing but bird and walkers and nature lovers come and stay. Its a beautiful site, lovely owners and tons of walking for four legged buddies!! No showers/loos but price reflects this well. Chem waste, fresh water, recycling and grey water disposal are all on site. Amazing scenery and quiet yet close to M5 for enroute stopover.

Great location and at a great price. Winter fishing is always harder, but had carp to 18 1/2lb and witnessed carp being caught slightly bigger in the few days I have stayed on the camping site. Great hosts and must be a great place to fish in the summer.

Absolute waste of time. Fish carrying disease - white spot, but didn’t catch the fish to learn only saw the ones floating in the edges.
Tried to charge us a fiver on arrival despite not setting up equipment - old man very aggressive when challenged on environment.
If you want to go fishing here. Don’t. Go to Hunnington just down the road.

Really nice place to spend a day fishing, have caught multiple carp on each visit. (Bottom Pool) Julie one of the owners is very friendly and polite to us each time we go. Maybe not for everyone but I like it there, peaceful.

I really like this place, second time visiting, Amanda and Julie who run the site met us when we arrived, very informative and lovely friendly ladies, Although this place doesn’t have any toilet facilities at the moment due to the Corona situation it didn’t bother us, the site is clean and cleaned regularly and sanatised regularly. Ideal for Fishers with its 2 big pools and for walkers as there are loads of public walkways. Massive field so plenty of room for the kids to run around on or kick a football around, we’re back in August.

Had a really nice day's fishing. The place isn't a muddy hole like some commercial pools but has been landscaped; the island gives you something to cast to and look at when they're not biting.

Been here twice with my dad who is getting on in yrs so it's great that you can park right by your peg, both days I have had were very good plenty of fish from the top pool & a mixed bag which I like (skimmers, bream, roach, perch, tench, Hyde, crusians & carp) staff don't bother you & are very polite. I would recommend this venue to anyone fantastic place to fish whether it be on the pole waggle or feeder, will be going back soon!
